Since its launch, Food24 has been at the forefront of the online recipe arena in South Africa and over the years we’ve grown to encompass a lot more than just recipes, but they still remain one of our major draw cards, and while the old favourites like Peppermint Crisp tart, Malva pudding and chicken biryani forever seem to come out tops, we are always on a pursuit to entice our audience with new, fresh and modern recipes. This has inspired us to launch Food24 NextGen.
What is Food24NextGen?
NextGen is an online competition aimed at student chefs (who are enrolled at a registered culinary institution) that have the creativity and flair to produce recipes that resonate and connect with an online audience. If you know of someone who fits the bill, please share the entry form with them. Their recipes and recipe videos could be featured Food24’s platforms in the coming months.
Who are the judges?
We’ve selected a small bona fide group of food personalities including high profile chefs and food editors who will together, be choosing the best content. You can check out the criteria here.
