11-year-old cooks her way to YouTube fame

Amber Kelley, an 11-year old from the United States is on her way to becoming an internet foodie sensation with her healthy cooking YouTube channel, “Cook With Amber” which has over ten thousand subscribers and is part of Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube Network. She’s appeared on on Food Network’s Rachael vs. Guy Kids Cook-Off and Q13 FOX News as a regular contributor. Not bad for someone who hasn’t even finished junior school!

Amber also won the 2013 Healthy Lunchtime Challenge for Washington State, and had the honour of dining next to Michelle Obama, who is a huge fan.

Just a normal kid

Amber knows that eating well is part of a happy life and she wants everyone to know that “Being healthy is COOL!” Amber shows kids that it’s easy and fun to make delicious, healthy meals that they will love. Besides cooking, Amber enjoys volleyball, art, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her family.

Being healthy is cool

Amber’s recipes are easy, delicious, healthy, and appeal to kids (making them and eating them!). She has some great ideas for healthy school lunches, and is fully aware of special diets, like vegan, vegetarian, Paleo, and dairy-free.
