Helloooooooo weekend! What an eventful week for SA. Politics news has kept us all waiting with baited breath and we can finally let out a sigh of relief. All the best to Cyril Ramaphosa on Friday as he addresses the country for the first time as President of the Republic.

Let’s head into the menu for this week…

First up, chicken pastilla! A traditional North African dish made of thin phyllo pastry that’s filled with meat and sometimes vegetables or rice. This is a real crowd-pleasing, belly-filling winner!

Looking for a hearty brunch dish to keep the wolves from the door? Get stuck into this ultra cheesy spinach and bacon bread bake.

If you’re ditching the diet, here’s what you can look forward to in the sweet department…caramel cheesecake with honeycomb chocolate (aka Crunchies). We know… decadent, right?!

For a vegetarian wonder, you can’t go wrong with an aubergine cheese bake!

Treats for the kiddles? Don’t look past this fun coconut and pistachio chocolate bark – it’s heavenly and so easy to make.

Plant-based meals are soooooo 2018 and we’ve got the most epic vegan curried potato and spinach quiche – made with tofu. You’ll love the take on a traditional quiche (sans eggs or cream).
