We had a great response to our Food24 iPhone app review a
restaurant and win promotion that ended last week.
Great reviews came in from everyone showing how easy and
awesome the Food24 Restaurant app is to use.
Unfortunately we could only choose 4 winners (this time) and
here they are:

The food is great, the ambience is great (considering that
its located in a mall) and the service is sharp and attentive. The prices are a
little high, but you get what you pay for.
JD – who reviewed The Kitchen at Maison– Franschhoek
Beautiful setting, we booked in advance and got seated on an
outside table next to the vineyards under the trees, perfect for a sunny autumn
day. Their food is mouthwateringly good, especially the matured steaks. Also
enjoyed the amuse bouche…a croquette like dish filled with creamy onion
velouté. Waiters were friendly but lacked some food knowledge. Fact that they
served a SASSI Red listed fish was a massive No-No.
Marina Pape – Maria’s Greek Restaurant – Cape Town
I love Maria’s! I am a big fan of calamari and I have
returned to Maria’s many a time for their delicious Cajun grilled calamari with
chips and homemade mayo. Gentle service, tasty puddings and a really charming,
cosy vibe. Look out for the friendly cat!
Rich – Bush Tavern and Grill – Umdloti
A good local grill, reasonable prices and close to the
beach. Curries and fresh line fish always a winner.
