Outrage of Modesty
Off of Shortmarket Street, hidden away, is Outrage of Modesty. Self describe as a “speakeasy”, the cocktails and mixed drinks are built using local brands such as Hope on Hopkins and Musgrave.

Sansibar Gin Lounge

Find this classic gin bar on the Asara Estate in Stellenbosch. With an immense collection of gins, and offering over 20 different tonics to mix them with, this elegant cocktail lounge is perfect for the gin connoisseurs.

Sin + tax
It’s all about the cocktail at Sin + tax! Award winning bartender, Julian Short, throws together mixed drinks with ease and style. Balance is the key here; a must for cocktail lovers.

It has to be said that finding your way inside this gorgeous restaurant isn’t always easy – it’s location inside Exclusive Books. The view over the Hyde Park treetops is nothing short of breathtaking, and an excellent backdrop for a range of drinks that is (fittingly) inspired by literary classics. Did someone say “weekly book club”?

The Countess
Known for their vibrant cocktails, this industrial chic restaurant also offers overloaded burgers and great value Specials for four to share.
