Sexy food

Ok, I admit it, I have Fifty Shades of Grey.

It’s actually the sequel so I missed the first one. No matter, I’m only interested in the saucy bits anyway.

I was terribly impressed when the first encounter involved some ice cream and no flogging – I’m terrified of the flogging; I’d much rather eat ice cream.

Food is such a passionate thing though, isn’t it? On so many levels. From the decisions on what to make, to the final sense-exploding eating of it.

First, I select the perfect ingredients. Then, the magical alchemy of preparing it with my energy and love bound into the dish. It’s an ethereal experience; all those pots steaming and bubbling with the spices and warmth of my own kitchen.

Goodness, don’t I sound so homey and wafty? It’s not always like that mind you, sometimes it’s flapping around to get something done so I can sit down and watch Modern Family.

But, when there’s time, and I have a glowing glass of red at my elbow, my mind turns to food, I pick up my favourite wooden spoon and I cook.

If you’re feeling that bewitching pull to make some beautiful food, we’ve got recipes to rain upon you.

You can start with some power-packed Indian chilli-poppers to get the blood rushing to your head. Then feast on a mysterious curry filled with fragrance and wonder, ending on some real seduction food… a chocolate fondue. If it’s a drinkie you like, take a peek at Cathy Marston’s seduction wines for the weekend.

If it’s inspiration you need, take a saunter over to our marvellous blogs, they’re filled with astoundingly gorgeous food made with love from the home kitchens of our wondrous bloggers.

Enjoy dear foodies, that’s what it’s all about.

Chocolate-dipped love,
