SEE: SA’s Michelin star chef, Jan Hendrik shares incredible Asian food pics from Japan

SA born chef and the owner of a 1 Michelin-star restaurant in the South of France, Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen, is having what many would call a foodie’s dream trip. He is currently in Japan on ‘foodeymoon’ with this new husband, Grant Bacon and if the images on Instagram are anything to go by, it looks like they are having the best time ever! 

We marveled at the incredible food that he’s experiencing – like fresh wasabi root and the fascinating Baumkuchen cake (see the video below!) as it all just looks so exotic and different. Check out some of his posts!
