Partner content: Support local with Lamb and Mutton SA, The Lazy Makoti and Chef Zanele by #SharingTheLambLove

Lamb and Mutton SA, the official consumer education project for the South African sheep industry, is most passionate about two things in life: South African lamb and South African foodies! They have partnered with two of SA’s most talented food personalities, The Lazy Makoti and Chef Zanele, to pay it forward and celebrate up-and-coming, passionate South African chefs and cooks this year!

The #SharingTheLambLove campaign was launched on Lamb and Mutton SA’s Instagram page in February this year. They will be selecting one up-and-coming Instagram food star every month in 2021 to cook with either The Lazy Makoti or Chef Zanele live on their pages. Terms and conditions as well as instructions on how to enter can be found on Lamb and Mutton SA’s Instagram page.

Last month, the talented Kholiwe Rafu stood out among hundreds of entries, thanks to her Instagram page’s amazing educational approach and her beautiful personality. Kholiwe is a CPak product specialist for a medical devices company by day, who shares her passion for food as a side hustle. In 2020, she was crowned the winner of “Cooking for a Cause” and her YouTube page, Kholiwe Cooks, showcases her cooking talent and bubbly personality. She cooked up a storm with The Lazy Makoti in Lamb and Mutton SA’s first #SharingTheLambLove live cookalong in February. Check out Lamb and Mutton SA’s Instagram TV to see how they cooked ginger pineapple lamb chops served with fluffy Dijon mustard mash. Kholiwe was such a hit among South Africa’s lamb lovers that she will now be hosting regular virtual “Sunday Lamb Lunch” cooking classes in partnership with Lamb and Mutton SA. Keep an eye on Lamb and Mutton SA’s Instagram page for more details.
