Midweek recipe ideas for low carb cooks – 26 October 2016

Breakfast
Gear up with a superfood breakfast of overnight chia and yoghurt porridge. It’s a chilled meal with all the preparation done the night before and then topped with a crunchy chocolate sesame seed sprinkle. Perfect for those that often find themselves in a chaotic morning rush. Yum!

Snack
While we’re on the subject of meal prepping in advance, we urge you to try your hand at some low carb baking. This basil pesto seed bread is great with a smear of butter and a hunk of sharp cheese when you feel your tummy start to growl. You could even make sandwiches with it to take to work.

Lunch/dinner
One-pan dinners are not only the easiest way to cook, they eliminate the number of dirty dishes you are left with afterwards! Our one-pan mustard and paprika pork steaks are hearty, filling and tasty.


Dessert

We’ve got a ricotta tart that’s similar to a chocolatey cheesecake that you are going to love! Adorn with whatever fresh berries you can get your hands on. Enjoy!
