Festive roasts

I’m probably going to sound like a stuck record when I say this but can you believe that it’s December on Monday?! That means Christmas is just over 3 weeks away. We’ve already adorned our office fern with shining fairy lights.

If you spend the build-up to Christmas wondering what on earth you’re going to cook this year for the big feast, I urge you not to panic. Don’t get flustered when you are asked to cook the pièce de résistance roast or to bring a dazzling dessert. We’ve got easy-to-follow recipes that the whole family will love.

And if there are any last minute kitchen disasters, keep calm and head to Checkers! This year they are going all out – think glazed gamon, Turducken, ostrich fan fillet and more!

One of our favourite foodie friends and celeb chef, Jenny Morris, is joining the party with her vibrant prawn and pineapple salad (great for Summer!) and my best – her braised steakhouse classic fillet with chunky Mediterranean salsa. Yum!
