This year Cape Town has topped the prestigious NY Times travel list for 2014, and Buzzfeed recently compiled a list naming The Mother City as the most beautiful in the world. It’s clearly the place to be and it’s no wonder that CNN is going to be showing off the best of Cape Town to the world this week on their Inside Africa programme.
According to www.hotelandrestaurant.co.za the following Western Cape food and wine highlights will feature on the show:
Luke Dale-Roberts, who owns the Test Kitchen and Pot Luck Club restaurants in Woodstock on the outskirts of the city;
Cheesemaker Jacko van Beulen of the Klein River Cheese Factory in Stanford; and
Luvo Ntezo who has worked his way from dishwasher to head sommelier at the One&Only Cape Town in less than a decade.
The Western Cape’s wine estates and micro-breweries will also feature.
