Checkers has recently added a new private label to its offering called ‘Forage and Feast’. The new range covers a wide variety of products including pantry staples like chimichurri and apricot braai sauce, prosecco vinegar and granola rusks as well as ready-to-cook meals like ‘il balsamico’ pizza, lemon marinated deboned chicken and smoked pork belly roast (which we’ve heard via a reliable source is incredibly tasty).
Food24 has been informed that the range officially only launches in stores on Wednesday 24 March but we’ve already spotted it on some shelves as it’s not hard to miss – with its elegant gold and dark blue design. The label’s look and feel gives it a premium brand identity and we look forward to trying some of the products, which appear to be at a very accessible price point. We’ve earmarked these for our bucket list:

Habanero sauce (R49.99)
Aged balsamic vinegar (R49.99)
Checkers brand ambassador and celebrity chef, Zola Nene used Forage and Feast aged balsamic & the Extra virgin Olive oil for her chicken salad today. Yum!
