Drew Barrymore, the Hollywood A-lister who stars in iconic movies like E.T and Scream, has joined the growing list of celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Chrissy Teigen who have all launched their own lifestyle brands. Her new kitchenware called ‘Beautiful’ is selling exclusively at Walmart, the American chain of hypermarkets, discount department and grocery stores.
“The reason I wanted to make the Beautiful line, and the thing that really spoke to me that I think I could offer is my love of design,” says Drew.
She was inspired by the 50s style of cookware but wanted to give it a more sleek, modern look – with everything being driven digitally or activated by touch. Colour also plays into the design element with varying options from soft greys, seafoam green, oyster white and ‘blueberry pie’.
The range is extensive – featuring kitchen appliances like toasters and air fryers, cookware, utensils and even cutlery.
The Walmart website also showcases some of Drew’s recipes. We love the sound of her “feelin’ fancy” mac and cheese.
