A new judging trio for MasterChef Australia has been announced

News shook the nation with the grand departure of all three much-loved (now former) judges George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston from MasterChef Australia earlier this year. Alas, the show must go on, and now Masterchef Australia has finally announced the trio set to run the show as new judges.

Here’s everything you need to know about the three new judges:

Jock Zonfrillo – voted Australia’s Hottest Chef in 2018 – brings the wow factor with his charming good looks. He’s also the chef and owner of award-winning restaurant Orana in Adelaide, Australia.

Former MasterChef season four champion Andy Allen makes history with this amazing accolade as the first-ever contestant to become a MasterChef Australia judge. Talk about upstaging your predecessors!

Melissa Leong is a passionate food and travel writer, food media consultant and cookbook editor with plenty of knowledge and know-how.

Tune into the upcoming season to see the exciting new judging trio in action. Season 12 showcases the cream of the crop, with all the best contestants from the past 11 seasons returning to be number one.
