The #Oscars might be the evening where celebrities are out in their most glamorous attire – but nothing quite brings out the inner child than free-floating candy parcels. It’s enough to bring a squeal of excitement from any food lover (or celeb in this case).

So even though The Oscars are all about the awards (or, ahem… lack of awards!) we all know that what brings the most joy, comes in form of pizza, doughnuts, candy and cookies.
Here are a few of the most memorable foodie moments from The Oscars…
1. Jimmy Kimmel – according to People food – briefly instructed celebrities to close their eyes and make a wish, shortly afterwards floating candy parcels filled the venue. Several celebrities are seen gleaming as they grab their treats.

2. Chris Rock who hosted the #Oscars2016 challenged celebrities to buy some of his daughter’s girl scout cookies (awesome right?), he managed to raise a whopping $65,243 (an estimated R853,521)

3. In 2014, talk show star Ellen DeGeneres ordered in dozens of pizza, requesting celebrities to tip the delivery boy, according to Independent online she said ‘You’ve got a lot of money. You can tip him, right?’ to celebrities.
