The Eat Out Produce Awards were a joll. The vibe was fantastic with local producers from around the country coming together to share their handmade products, at the, yes you guessed it, Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock.
Friday night boasted a killer market with the opportunity to meet the local artisans and have a chat to them about their product. No doubt, they could talk passionately about charcuterie, or jam, or delicious fudge for hours.
Saturday night over one hundred food lovers, experts, and industry superstars, came together for an all star dinner with top chefs and food producers. Check out the gallery here.
We could talk about those same yummy products for an endless amount of time too, but instead we will just let you see who won and you can go and buy and taste it for yourself! Then come back to us and tell us how it was.
Oh, and Anél Potgieter won Best Food Blogger of the Year – and we think she’s pretty much the bee’s knees.
The winners were selected by a panel of judges, including MasterChef judge Pete Goffe-Wood, current Eat Out Chef of the Year Margot Janse, Jackie Cameron, Anna Trapido, Anelde Greeff and Abigail Donnelly.
