There is a beautiful story about a princesses who couldn’t sleep because there was a pea underneath a pile of her bedding. This princess has a bunch of grapes on her mind which I find to be more telling of what she’s made of. Its Grenache blanc, and its #fides and its pretty radical being in that vineyard when a storm packs together after a week of 40oC weather. Now to hope it all stays safe until we can harvest it. It is harvest season in the winelands, which means it is our busiest time of the year, with people in the vineyards and tractors running up and down. Unfortunately, due to the #simonsbergfire, some vines won’t be harvested this year and the community has been working hard to stop the fires. Good luck with all the farms still fighting the fire, the cleanup and the harvest that needs to continue. Donations can be dropped off at Delvera. ?? @minormatters #harvest2016 #saharvest2016
