According to Endless Simmer, Art Smith owner of ‘Art and Soul’ restaurant in Washington is the frontrunner. He’s got the connections after being Oprah’s chef for 10 years and know the DC culinary landscape.
However if it’s up the first lady Tony Mantuano, the chef at her favourite restaurant Spiagga, might get the nod. The couple had their first meal after winning the election at the restaurant and Michelle Obama celebrated her birthday there this year.
