Welcome to Vin-atics with Roodeberg! This is a new one for us because instead of matching six dishes to six wines, we decided to see how many different facets of this fabulous SA icon we can match to as many different foods as possible. A bit of a challenge?? Not at all!

Vin-atics Dinner – 4th May
Yes – there’s nothing like getting straight back into it after all the long weekends and parties of the last month.  We’ve found some fabulous foodies and winos who are going to join us at Chef Caro’s lovely home to meet her little babas and hunky hubby and eat her delicious foods. Here’s the fabulous menu she’s concocted this month:

Mushrooms with Cream
Lamb Knuckles with Red Wine
Caramelised Onion Tart with Blue Cheese
Classic Carpaccio
Herbed Country Terrine
Dark Chocolate Truffles

And we think that each of these delish dishes is going to go down great with Roodeberg, that favourite blend of Cab, Shiraz and other secret grape-y ingredients.
