Bueno Aires has a thriving café culture with many waiters and waitresses serving tables as their main (and often only) source of income.
To prove how efficient they are, waiters can enter the city’s annual waiter race – where they have to carry a tray holding a bottle of water and a bottle of Coca Cola while covering a distance of 1600m without dropping anything. The prize? 1000 US dollars.
