It’s September which means Spring is here and it’s time to dust off that braai grid. If you’ve been braaing throughout Winter – bonus points for you!
In preparation for Heritage Day coming up soon (24th September), we decided it was probably a good idea to brush up on our braai skills and who better to train us in this department than guru of the braai himself – Jan Braai.
Even though the weather in Cape Town has been a bit iffy, we found a magnificent braai spot near Camps Bay called Maiden’s Cove. It’s right on the water and breathtakingly beautiful – showing off the stunning natural wonders of Mzanzi.
Today, Jan is showing us how to cook a steak on the braai (perfectly).
