WATCH: Jamie Oliver announces the opening of his new restaurant in Joburg

We announced at the beginning of the year that Jamie Oliver would be bringing his Jamie’s Italian restaurant chain to SA, and now it’s open!

Fans of the Naked Chef can start making bookings at the Melrose Arch restaurant where chef Shane Smit is running the kitchen.

The Jamie’s Italian social media team have posted various teasers on Instagram throughout the year including a recent video that was posted with Jamie himself announcing, “Jozi, we’ve got some lekker news for you!”
