WATCH: How chef Luke Dale-Roberts is saving 90% of the water used for washing dishes

The water crisis in the Cape has been severe and although it appears that #DayZero has been scrapped, it doesn’t mean that we can all go back to 10 minute showers and flushing the toilet a thousand times a day.

Chef Luke Dale-Roberts who owns The Test Kitchen, SA’s number one restaurant and currently 63rd best restaurant in the world, has made a brave leap in his efforts to save water by not serving his food on chinaware. He’s saved 90% of the water that was used to wash dishes.
