As an olive oil producing country, South Africa has come a long way in the last ten years with many multi-award winning oils gracing our local supermarket shelves. And although it’s always tempting to buy imported oils (for so long we’ve been lead to believe that any olive oil from the Mediterranean is the best), you might be surprised to know that actually – it’s not the best and we make some pretty damn good olive oil ourselves.
