There were tears of joy, frustration and, well, onions in Episode 2 of MasterChef SA when contestants had to dice onions to see who got the chop and who went through to the next round of Bootcamp.
A very impressive helicopter delivered a giant box of unpeeled onions on a bridge in Jozi to contestants eagerly awaiting thier first real foodie challenge.
Judge Pete Goffe-Wood then demonstrated how to chop an onion properly and it was game on.
