TV chefs are joining forces

UK Channel 4 has revealed that it has roped in three leading television chefs to spearhead the channel’s new season documenting food habits.

After forcing an improvement in school dinners, Oliver will now tackle factory-chicken farming. His one-off TV special Jamie’s Fowl Dinners will be broadcasted in January 2008.

In Jamie’s Fowl Dinners, the celebrity chef will host a dinner for food industry bosses and celebrities. During each course, Oliver promises to demonstrate graphically how battery-farmed eggs and chickens reach the dinner plate.

Ramsay will be hosting a show called Cook-a-Long-a-Gordon LIVE. He will be teaching the public the right way to cook a healthy meal.

Fearnley-Whittingstall’s will host a programme called, Chicken Run. He will set out creating his own intensive and free range chicken farms, highlighting the differences between the two farming methods.
