Tabasco sauce is the world’s favourite hot sauce and can be found on restaurant tables, kitchen shelves and behind bars in almost every city. This simple sauce is made from only 3 ingredients – Louisiana peppers, salt and vinegar aged in barrels for 3 years, and it’s zingy bite has earned it many loyal fans (some even say, addicted?) This year, the manufacturers of Tabasco are releasing a limited edition bottle to thank their steadfast customers.

Introducing: The Champagne of Hot Sauce! The McIlhenny Company has selected the finest, ‘most robust’ chilli peppers for this limited edition sauce. The peppers have been aged for 15 years in oak barrels and matured in sparkling wine vinegar for extra depth and kick. Packaged in a mini champagne-style bottle, capped with gold foil and presented in gorgeous, gloss presentation box – this could be the ultimate gift for a Tabasco fan.

Available in limited numbers, this special batch of Diamond Reserve is selling online for around R400.
