Retaining the

Lindt, is pleased to announce that the success of their recent move to the charming
Cape Quarter,
de Waterkant, Cape Town
has created the demand for a BIGGER and BETTER studio
from which to run their deliciously unique workshops and training courses. 

Remaining in their
original location the studio has
expanded into the adjoining premises and with this has introduced a host of
delicious new workshops that will allow chocolate lovers
of all skill levels to create and explore the many techniques involved in
chocolate work.

The new workshops
include the entry level Chocolate Appreciation Session, Dessert Tasters 1 and 2
for those looking for delicious dessert combinations to bake at home, Lindt Cup
Cakes, The Art of Truffle Making, Lindt Petit Desserts – a workshop focused on
dessert items presented in mini glasses, Cake Decorating which will teach one
how to bake and decorate speciality cakes, Lindt Petit Gateaux, Chocolate
Tempering, Décor and Showpiece and Chocolate and Confectionary.

Shorter
workshops such as Dessert Tasters 1 and 2 and the Art of Truffle Making are
also offered as social get-togethers and are a perfect solution for an
alternative and truly memorable client function and office team building.

For retail
lovers the studio shop boasts an
array of specialized chocolate equipment and apparatus, Lindt product,
Chocolate Studio souvenirs and speciality items such as the Lindt Passions
Recipe book and fondue set.

“Working with the finest Swiss
chocolate everyday and having the opportunity to work with people and encourage
them to experiment with chocolate, are a few of the things that I love about my
job” says Chocolate Studio Manager and Head Chef Dimo Simatos.  Simatos’ love affair with
chocolate began at a young age tasting confectionary from a local confectionary
shop in Johannesburg. 

From
