It quarter past midnight in Barcelona and I have just returned from The Bullring where David Rios has just been announced as the top bartender in the world.
What an amazing setting and venue and rather fitting that Spain walked away with the honours.
Huge congratulations to David, more excitement than that I have not seen since David Guetta opened his set in Ibiza last night.
He will no doubt be celebrating long into the night with his fellow bartender
It’s really been the most amazing week of my life. I have never fitted this much stuff into 5 days – I can only imagine how the bartenders must feel.
I hope that they are taking a few days off in this beautiful city to relax for a couple of days.
As for the rest of us, well we have drunk the best of the best in luxury brands, attended many interesting seminars played shuffleboard (some better than others) and visited the best hotspots in Europe.
I can honestly say it has been INSANE.
