In just over a week, Somizi will be tying the knot with his partner Mohale in a glamorous, star-studded traditional wedding ceremony. While the preparations are still a massive secret, we do know that he will be serving cocktails!
This weekend, however, he’s going to be busy presiding over the DStv Foodie Lounge at the DStv Delicious Festival. He’s long had a love for food, and it’s not uncommon for him to post videos of his cooking on a regular basis, so festival goers are in for a real treat. He’s also got a cookbook and cooking show in the works, so his fans will soon be able to get their fill of his vibrant culinary style.
Judging from his Instagram account, the person he cooks for the most is his fiancé, so we wanted to know exactly what food he loves to prepare for this special person in his life. These were his three favourite dishes:
– Lamb knuckle stew
– Savoury rice
– Beef medallions in mushroom Sauce and “everything in rice, rice, rice, he’s addicted to the stuff!!
Living the Dream with Somizi is his reality show that follows all his ups and downs, including the journey he’s taking to wed the love of his life. Watch it on Thursdays at 20:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) or on DStv Now and Catch Up.
