I always feel smart when I am cooking. I’m not one of those blessed people who can balance a blender on their head whilst dicing vegetables and icing a cake, but I still feel like I’m adding value as I produce something tasty to eat.
We are all about #SmartCooking at the moment here at Food24 – what is #SmartCooking you ask? Well we have interpreted it as cooking with the intention of saving electricity and being more efficient in the kitchen. Whether you are cooking a meal for 2 or entertaining for 12 it’s about being innovative and doing your bit to ease the load.
I follow Ultimate Braai Master host, Justin Bonello on just about every social media platform, and he is championing this cause at the moment –you can see that not only is he saving electricity, but he is cutting down on all his own household bills.
