Readers react to restaurants’ refusal to offer free drinking water

We’ve also dished the dirt on what the law says about restaurants who refuse to offer customers free water to drink. According to Section 4.7 of the Liquor Act Norms and Standards, it is illegal for restaurants that hold a liquor license to refuse free drinking water to their patrons.
