Last Thursday saw the launch of a new super hip four-storey branch of the popular Rockets restaurant in Bryanston. With its innovative salads and simple but fresh dishes, Rockets in Parkhurst has always been a favourite, and the Bryanston branch is just like Parkhurst’s – but on steroids.

Situated at the Hobart Grove Shopping Centre, it features a rooftop deck garden, private dining room, Lolita’s bar and lounge, a ladies champagne lounge and a gents’ cognac lounge. This branch will also introduce a “member” system, through which for a monthly or annual fee patrons will get access to benefits that include a co-work space with WiFi, complimentary coffee, special tasting menus and uninterrupted access to the rooftop garden and invitations to events.
Rockets Bryanston is open Mondays to Sundays for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are plans to open branches in Pretoria and Durban in the next two years.
