Instead of paint and canvasses a group of culinary/contemporary artists are using meat as their materials. The Meat after Meat Joy exhibition is showing at the Daneyal Mahmood Gallery in New York City.
The show is compiled of sculptures, photographs, videos and paintings, some of which are already beginning to decompose.
Some of the pieces being shown are Adam Brandejs’, Animatronic Flesh Shoe which twitches with electricity, a meat toilet and a bacon teacup. The pieces are meant to show the “paradoxical relationship meat has to the body”, if anybody had a clue as too what this means please let me know?
