Nigella Lawson accused of taking drugs

Original article from Skynews.

Earlier this year, Ms Lawson divorced Mr Saatchi for continuing unreasonable behaviour.

They seperated after pictures were published in June, where the millionaire art dealer held his wife of 10 years by the throat. Apparently it was just a playful tiff.

Now, Nigella Lawson, the celebrity cook, has been accused by her former husband Charles Saatchi of taking drugs.

Two Italian sisters, Francesca Grillo and Elisabetta Grillo, used to be the personal assistants for the celebrity couple. They were also accused of using the couples’ credit card, but it was given to them.

The defendants of Bayswater, West London, denied the charges.

In the court
An email from Mr Saatchi to Ms Lawson was read in court saying: “Now the Grillos will get off on the basis that you, Mimi (Ms Lawson’s daughter from her first marriage to John Diamond) were so off your head on drugs you allowed them to spend whatever they liked.”

Between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2012, the Grillo sisters committed fraud through abusing their job as personal assistants by using the company’s credit card for personal gain.

The TV celebrity cook is expected to give evidence during the two week trial.
