MasterChef South Africa: Video

In the 7th episode of MasterChef South Africa, we saw the contestants cooking for the country’s navy onboard the vessel, SAS Amatola in Simonstown.

The teams went head to head with the red team losing the challenge. Their next task was the “nose to tail” challenge: cooking all parts of a pig, including trotters, tails and ears!

The contestants had 90 minutes to cook their dish which left Ilse’s shoulder and Lungi’s pork tails emerging as the two best dishes.

Lungile definitely added some ‘proudly South African’ flavour with her chakalaka and ugeqe.
