36 nominees from 9 categories were announced yesterday for the 41st International Emmy Awards.
Masterchef SA has been nominated in the non-scripted entertainment category with Go Back to Where You Came From (Australia), Dear Neighbors, Help Our Daughter Find Love (Israel) and Reto al Chef 2 (Colombia).
The other local show nominated was eNCA’s Late Night News with Loyiso Gola.
Emmy winners will be announced on the 25 th of November2013 at the Hilton New York Hotel.

We thought this year’s MasterChef SA was a lot slicker, on trend and more entertaining than the first season. Clearly the team learnt valuable lessons from 2012 and came out with the goods this year.
