Who cares if it’s summer or winter or autumn… It’s time for MasterChef SA and boy have we got the goods for you!
All
our favourite pastimes rolled into one… TV, cooking, bitching, judging,
loving and hating. It’s a minefield of fun times. And we’re covering it
all on Food24 and we want you guys to get as involved as we are.
We
were so impressed with some of the cooking, the standard is going to be
high – thank heavens! Weren’t those duck burgers so impressive? I mean
come on… Masterchef USA eat your hearts out.
Judges
I love Benny the most (that smile) … but that’s just me – you can vote for the judge you liked best and the one who really grated your carrot. See who’s winning here.
Is Andrew going to become the judge everyone loves to hate? Or will Pete be MasterChef SA’s JR Ewing?
Contestants
We loved Jade – her full-on quirkiness
stole our (and the judges hearts) from the minute she put ice cream and
tart to plate. My favourite part was, after she plated up and the ice
cream, “melted into brilliance’.
And how about the lingerie model? And the scullery guy making it onto the show as a contestant – all that crying and praying, talk about reality tv!
There was the fudge guy, who, well… fudged it (rather badly) with his gloopy pasta and that curry guy who was just way too happy about his kak curry. Ag shame, but what can we do peeps, it’s MasterChef SA and it’s got to be good, or you’re going home.
So
as you can see the inaugural Masterchef SA has already got tongues
wagging and we are merely an hour into 18 weeks of pure foodie TV
enjoyment. Well, everyone seems to be LOVING it so far.
