Lungile Nhlanhla joins DRUM magazine

MasterChef South Africa fans know her for her bubbly personality, flair for creativity and determination to succeed. Although her journey on MasterChef South Africa has come to an end, the DRUM family is delighted to have 22-year-old Lungile Nhlanhla join the team as the junior food editor – a challenging opportunity that will allow her passion for food and creativity to flourish.

In 2012 Lungile was part of the first season of MasterChef South Africa, where she explored her love of food. Although each task had its own challenges, Lungile’s strong will and determination to always do her best secured her one of the top five spots, proving that even at 22 she has the leadership and team skills to successfully carry out the toughest of tasks.

“MasterChef South Africa showed us what a hardworking and proactive young woman Lungile is – key characteristics that make her the perfect addition to the DRUM family,” said Nerisa Coetzee, publisher of DRUM magazine.

Liezel Joubert, lifestyle editor at DRUM, YOU and Huisgenoot is excited to welcome Lungile to the DRUM lifestyle team. “She is a talented foodie who is sure to spice things up in the DRUM kitchen. We are looking forward to introducing her signature style and flair for flavour to our pages.”
