La Colombe’s Scot Kirton to open new venture in Constantia

We spotted an exciting tweet this morning from Constantia’s much loved La Colombe restaurant! It revealed that Executive chef Scot Kirton is set to open a new restaurant or “venture” with his pastry chef, Glen Williams.

It all seems a bit hush hush for now because when we called the restaurant’s PR company for more details, all they could offer us was the following statement:

“San Pellegrino Chef of the Year 2015 Scot Kirton together with highly acclaimed La Colombe pastry chef Glen Williams, are poised to open an exciting new venture at the High Constantia Centre, during the Spring of 2016.”

This is all quite thrilling! If you’ve ever been to La Colombe you will know why. If not – read our review here.

Currently Scot (as mentioned above) is San Pellegrino Chef of the Year so you can be sure his fans and eager diners are getting ready to make their first reservations!

All we can say is – the more of Scot’s food there is around, the better.
