Kumala supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Kumala, the biggest selling South African wine brand in the world, is once again the official wine sponsor for the Pink Drive.
 
For every bottle of Kumala sold during the month of October, Kumala will donate R1.00 to the Pink Drive. The Pink Drive is committed to improving breast cancer awareness and education to women accross South Africa, particularly to those who do not have access to information on breast health.
 
“The Pink Drive is a cause that we wholeheartedly support. 1 in every 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. We are talking about our mothers, daughters and sisters – it is a disease we are all affected by, one way or another. Early detection can be treated and is curable, which is why the Pink Drive’s awareness campaign is so important,” says Bruce Jack, Chief Winemaker for Constellation Wines SA, brand owner of Kumala.
 
The Kumala Zenith range includes a Chenin Blanc/Chardonnay, a Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz and a newly launched Rose. Kumala is available from selected discount outlets and supermarkets and retails between R25.99 and R29.99.
