June Vinatics: The prestigious event

Hello wine-lovers,

And welcome to possibly the best selection of wines ever at Vinatics! Our lovely sponsors, Old Mutual gave us the pick of the bunch, meaning 6 of the top trophy winners from this year’s competition. Did we indulge? Yup! Did we enjoy? Oh yes! Did we speak Klingon? Well, that’s another story!

If you want to see what we got up and exactly what Star Trek and Klingons have to do with Vinatics, then click here to see the report. Once again we were blessed with wonderful guests and beautiful food – how could the evening not have been perfect? And now it’s your turn to eat, drink and be merry – and hopefully, be a winner as well.

Wines to suit all budgets!
We were so lucky to get such amazing wines for our dinner, but let’s face it, times are tight for all of us and we appreciate that not everyone can spend R100 – R300+ on a bottle of wine – we certainly can’t! But do not despair – you can still join in with Vinatics and win yourself R500 from Cybercellar! Enough to buy you a couple of bottles at least.

Listed below are the 6 dishes from Vinatics with the designated wine match. Alongside this, I have made some wallet-friendly suggestions of similarly-styled wines which you might want to try instead. All you have to do to win is to choose a couple of the dishes, pick up a couple of the wines (either my suggestions or any other ones you feel might work), invite some friends round, cook, eat, drink, take pictures and then tell us all about it.

Yours in Klingon
