Dinner in the sky

A rather extraordinary dining experience 60m in the air. Up to 22 guests are seated around this floating table with 3 staff (waiter, chef and entertainer) in the centre. The table and chair rig is attached to a crane that safely hoists diners into the sky to enjoy spectacular views, cocktails and eats. It’s open to the public on selected public event dates which are released and available for bookings with Computicket about 1 month prior to the event.

THE WKND SOCIAL

Monthly pop up experiences hosted by The Other Girls that take place around the Joburg CBD. Inspired by the brunch and day party movements in New York, these events take place in two parts. Part one is from 12 – 4pm and is the ‘Good Food’ portion of the event, where guests can enjoy a three-course extravaganza along with bottomless cocktails. After which there is an ‘after party’ (included in the ticket price) where it’s all about music and dancing the night away.

Spier Secret dinners

As part of the lead up to the Spier Secret Festival in Joburg, an annual event that used to be held exclusively in Cape Town, Spier Secret dinners will offer a lucky few the opportunity to experience an array of eccentric dining experiences. This year it’s a ‘cinematic dining experience’ where guests will eat and drink with characters from the movies.

Dîner en Blanc

The first of it’s kind in South Africa:

At the last minute a secret location is reveled and thousands of people, dressed all in white descend upon a public space somewhere in Johannesburg for the ultimate ‘chic picnic’. The idea was first brought to fruition 25 years ago in Paris and looks like it is here to stay in SA.
