International food celebrity, food activist and really just the most adorable, Jamie Oliver, hosted the 1 year birthday party for his ongoing project ‘Food Tube.’
In honour of the celebration, Oliver and team asked his 3.1 million followers to join the live show from the comfort of their homes and collect clues for a final answer to be tweeted at the end of the live program. The answer was ‘cupcake’ by the way.
The show featured Oliver doing what he usually does best: getting really excited about vegetables, extra virgin olive oil and meals that can be made in 15 minutes (if someone is preparing your ingredients ahead of time that is).
During the 1 hour episode, sensational internet guests, like Michael Stevens from the channel VSauce with over 6 million subscribers, used fire, smoke, and tricks to impress the thousands who tuned in.
After a successful evening of jumping and shouting over the amazingness of all things food and internet, the winner was chosen and we’re bummed it wasn’t Food24.
