Introducing the Shisa Nyama Awards judges

Andrew Draper
Food is Andrew’s passion and one he has found to be a very rewarding profession. Since his first restaurant opening twenty two years ago, Andrew has been fortunate to win many accolades, including chef of the year twice. All food excites him; from tender potjies, crispy charred flesh of a shisa nyama, or the silkiness of foie gras. They all take him to a happy place of fond shared meals, travels and experiences. Food truly is his life.
