Some useful tips
An insider gave MasterChef SA hopeful Sam Brighton some tips for the big day in Cape Town tomorrow.
1. Tons of ice bricks! Rather have your food be too cold than be turned away because your dish is too warm. Remember: Your plate should be no warmer than 4ºC.
2. Show your understanding of food. It’s more about flavour than flash.
3. Cape Town is the foodie capital of SA so they are expecting a large turnout at the auditions – so get there early!
