In-N-Out Burger comes to Cape Town for a day

On 15th June the iconic American burger brand, In-N-Out presented Capetonians the opportunity to sample their signature burgers at SMAK Deli, a relative newcomer to the Bree Street restaurant scene.

We found this rather bizarre on a number of levels..

a) Why would In-N-Out be running a ‘pop-up’ in a deli in little old South Africa?

b) Why are they only selling burgers between 11am – 3pm on one day?

c) Are these actual legit In-N-Out burgers?!

In case you are not familiar with In-N-Out, here’s a bit of background…

The fast food burger chain started in California back in 1948 and has garnered a somewhat cult-following, even though it’s a pretty small company compared to some of the other big burger giants. In fact, a visit to an In-N-Out is considered a must when visiting the Golden State. What makes it such a reputable brand? Simplicity, affordability and excellent customer service are three main draw cards that sets In-N-Out burgers way above the rest.

In-N-Out is so popular that even world renowned chef, Anthony Bourdain with his 1.4 million Instagram followers, raves about the burgers! WATCH the video below..

Verdict: damn tasty… make your way to #innoutburger in #capetown today!! 1 per person…
