set to soar and is fast becoming a favourite foodie destination when visiting
the Highveld.
Service
Friendly but not pretentious and our waiter had a vast
knowledge of all the dishes and wines.
I am finding more and more that Joburg restaurants have
really got their service right, and this was no exception.
Food
No fiddly, teensy portions and you really get the feeling
that each dish has been lovingly thought out and created. His flavours are
strong and bold he has a knack for interesting combinations that work. He creates an exciting and innovative foodie experience.
Everything is made on site and the menu changes regularly to
fit in with the seasons and Marthinus’ ever-evolving inspiration.

Wine
A large ‘by-the-glass’ menu with stunning wines which I found
refreshing, great SA wines and a seriously impressive International list
brought in by wine guru Guy Harcourt-Wood from Great Domaines.
