Find out which wine exhibitors will be at the Soweto Wine and Lifestyle Festival

Here are the confirmed wineries that will be taking part so far. It’s vino delicious!

1. Hermanuspietersfontein Winery – located in Hermanus, a cool climate and complex topography create the conditions for this estate.

2. Sedibe Winery – this upstart label focuses on inviting “kasi wine drinkers” into the world of wine.

3. Ashton Winery – this winery has something for everyone: standard, reserve, casual and nonalcoholic ranges.

4. Diemersfontein Wines – established in the 1940s, this heritage wine label is famous for its pinotage.

5. Freedom Hill Wines – a family estate in the hills between Franschhoek and Paarl, known for its red wines.

6. Thando Wines – produced in Stellenbosch, this small, new winery specialises in red blend and semi-sweet wines.

7. Ghosts of the Future known for its pinotage and sauvignon blanc, this brand from Imbuko Wine also fights rhino poaching.

8. KWV – with its headquarters in Paarl, wine and brandy ­producer KWV is an international award winner.

9. Vrede Wines – located in Stellenbosch, Vrede Wines produces red and white varietals from entry level to select.

10. Spier Wines – established in 1692, one of South Africa’s most famous wineries produces several fine brands.

11. Survivor Wines a -winery that celebrates the spirit of the Swartland and the Nguni cows that roam the region.

12. Boekenhoutskloof a small winery in Franschhoek known for such beloved brands as Porcupine Ridge and The Wolftrap.

13. Peter Falke Wines -a  boutique winery in Stellenbosch with ranges for both the connoisseur as well as the social drinker.

14. Doolhof Wine Estate -a winery in Wellington producing two whites and several reds.

15. Robertson Wines -this well-known winery’s vast range includes low-calorie wines.

16. Fat Bastard -a winery loved for its brands that focus on accessible luxury.

17. Pomüla Wine Spritzer – pomegranate and marula in a spritzer by Imbuko Wine Cellar.
