Eco-friendly vodka

360 Vodka applies advanced eco-friendly production and packaging processes unprecedented in the spirits industry.

The company also recently upgraded the distillery to reduce fossil fuel energy use by 21 percent and meets or exceeds all US EPA’s (Environmental Protection Agency) air and water quality standards for modern distilleries.

According to www.360vodka.com their vodka product is quadruple distilled. And while it is not organic, 360 Vodka uses traditionally harvested local grain due to its vast potential for long-term environmental sustainability. The 360 distillation process is said to be 200% more efficient than conventional pot stills, while its charcoal filtration system filters out almost all impurities.

The label on the 360 Vodka also shows an eco-audit, detailing what environmental resources where saved in the production of the label.

Some additional eco attributes include: packaging consisting of 100% recycled content and post consumer waste, an 85% recycled glass bottle and chlorine-free paper processing.

The 360 Vodka bottle uses an innovative recyclable flip-top closure that resembles ‘Grolsch-beer bottle’ caps. If you return the closure the company donates one dollar to a selected green organisations.

Now you just have to drink it in moderation and you might feel thoroughly ‘green’ afterwards.
